Warlord of Ayodhya
This was another project I worked on for the bestselling fantasy author Shatrujeet Nath. The trilogy of Bharat – son of Kaikeyi, brother of Rama, reluctant king of Kosala. – Warlord of Ayodhya. The book-01 and book-02 have been published, book-03 is in the works. This was a tough one because the publisher wanted a very realistic image (I have very little experience painting realistic images. A lot of R&D went into this one) and a light colour for the background. I would have opted for a darker colour for the cover considering the subject matter.
